PopEye - To the deapest sea

1st Anorak Festival. Kavala, 2009

Saturday, 13th of June, in the old castle of Kavala...

Karoutes

I had to cover more than 600 kilometers to find myself in a magical place or planet I should say in the middle of high mountains...
I was appointed in charge of the polling station of the village Karoutes for the European Elections.

The short days in Munich, part II

Munich was the place to be on Saturday 23rd of May. One night, 400 concerts, 100 different places. One of the highlights of the night was the tram line with a live concert on or I should say in the tram wagon that followed a specific route around Munich. People were getting on and off all the time.
I opted to leave my camera at home since I wanted to remember that night my own way and not necessarily the way it happened.
It was a special night and maybe that's why we met special people.
To get access to the concerts -static or moving ones- all you had to do was get one of these ->>

That's all from the Long Night of Music. Back to the daytime... and the short days in Munich...

Munich airport.

This is not an embassy... Let's say it is a center of cultural exchange between the U.S. and Bavaria...

This is a rare spectacle to see in Munich...

This is the BMW museum near the Olympic Stadium...

Looking on the opposite side from the BMW museum... These are two of my favourites. This view reminds me of the sky in Paris. I had a strange feeling when I was looking that skyscraper that I was looking towards Paris direction... I haven't checked it nor will I because it does not matter, it won't change my feeling no matter what...
Flohmarkt (bazaar) in Turkenstrasse...

This is Antares hotel in AmalienStrasse. It could be the hotel from the homonymous -sounds a bit heavy but can't find another word right now- movie but it isn't...

These are the great white sausages with the delicious sweet mustard. There is a unique and special way to seperate the sausage from its "skin" before you eat it. It was love at first bite...
Turkenhoff in Turkenstrasse. Meaning the Turkish backyard in the Turskish street. Delicious food and unique atmosphere. If I lived there it would definitely become a frequently visited place for food, dinner or lunch... Been there only twice and I miss it already.
